Disney renewed Ultimate Spider-Man for a third season, airing in 2014. On May 1, 2013, Caitlyn Taylor Love revealed that a third season was in production; scripts for the first episodes were already being written and there she and the other actors were voicing their respecitve superheroes for the third season.
It has also been rumoured that a new Marvel superhero will join the team - the female mutant superhero Quake.
